Supply is effecting everything. Seeing GPU's are monolithic chips the failure rate is much higher than AMD's CPUs seeing those are chiplet based. Other rumors were companies were having trouble getting enough components for the cards themselves.

Like all reference cards the boards should be basically the same for the high end SKUs just different coolers.

Haven't seen a whole hell of a lot of watercooled cards yet, seems like a lot of people with cards are waiting for other brands of blocks rather than EK before doing it.

    mmmmm affordable graphics cards.

I live in the (probably delusional) hope that one day i'll see a reference 6800 XT at near MSRP AND have the speed required to order it before someone else does :Pirate:

Heh, finally got around to ordering a block for my card today.

I too had a delusion of getting a cheap(er) card and was on the fence about going back to air cooling just to make life easy anyway, but damn... even aio's are expensive now days. May as well go all in and just slap a block on the 6900 and call it a day year....

Apparently my Sapphire 6800 XT Nitro+ now has an eta of 2nd March (Scorptec). It's also gone up $100 since I ordered it lol.

Just ordered, thanks. Hopefully that wraps up my 6800xr/5600x stock hunt and I can organise the rest of my build.

Yep. Priority for most brands is Nvidia because they released first and, it's Nvidia after all .

Watercool wont Heatkiller blocks out till March or April, not sure if those will only be reference or not. EK hasn't said a whole lot about AIB cards. Alphacool seem to be one of the only ones doing AIB cards. Dunno about the others.
