Who else here had a pre-order with Harvey Norman for a reference MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT back in January this year for $1,069??

They just cancelled my order and refunded me.

Same.. how Flipping annoying!!! no interest would of been nice for a good will gesture compensation! Now I'm wondering if Scorp will do the same...

    This triggered me:
Based on this and in accordance with our terms and Pursuant to clause 5(9) of the Harvey Norman Online Terms and Conditions of Sale (available at www.harveynorman.com.au/terms-and-conditions/), Harvey Norman Online has not accepted your order and would like to arrange a full refund of the payment made by you.
    Its a different T&C?!...

3k is more than I would pay, pretty much every 6900xt will hit a 20.5k+ timespy score with some tweaking.

While temps are a bit warm it probably runs pretty quietly given the whole thing is cooled by a single 120mm fan.

Yeah, I wouldn't pay that either.

I have to sit down and figure out my Red Devil this weekend though. I haven't had time to do anything much except whack it into my case (I'm still using my old PC at the moment), but I did try running Time Spy a couple of times, and it kept throwing errors and not completing at stock settings (with the BIOS switch set to OC, and AUTOMATIC > DEFAULT set in the driver tuning). Wondering if I have a dud card or if it's something else. Ran DDU and installed the latest drivers, so I don't -think- it's that.

Any settings I should try? I'm a bit of a noob with AMD GPUs.

Heatkiller blocks are very sexy, can be pricy but usually worth it :D

Anyone remember the scorptec priority pre-order way back in November? Did anyone actually get allocated a card?
I’m still waiting 8 months on with no updates or eta since.

Well, that was a bit of a weird one. Turns out my problem wasn't the GPU at all. It was PBO Fmax Enhancer (I had it turned on).

It would happily run anything else I threw at it. I ran corecycler for over 24hrs with no errors, and also ran Prime95 for over 24hrs with no errors (it's my work machine, so I wanted to make sure it was rock stable). For some reason 3DMark was causing problems.

I turned off Fmax Enhancer today, and no more problems at all. Weird.

I'm hoping gamersnexus or another youtuber does a teardown of the liquid cooled 6900xt :Pirate:

Having ideas of adding to a loop or even just swapping the puny rad *dreams*
