My Red Devil OC from trippinonprozac was just delivered. Box was crushed, card is mangled. This is why we can't have nice things AusPost. I wanted a 6900XT not a paperweight and insurance claim. Really should have insured it for the full price of a new one.

Always insure anything that you care about!

Edit, not that it's easy to get the insurance money from them lol.

Mann this breaks my heart :(

It was even wrapped with fragile tape when boxed by Auspost.

Chat to you in PM mate.

They must have put that card through hell. The Red Devil is built like a brick shithouse, so for them to have mangled it like that would have taken some skill.

Never underestimate the skill of an Auspost delivery driver.

Which 6800XT worth buying if I want it cool, quiet, reliable and hassle free minor OC perhaps?
I understand 6900XT is not worth extra over 6800XT for 1440p gaming?

With some bending, flattening, refitting and heavy massage the devil lives. The bulky aluminium heatsink shroud and back plate combined with it's reinforced display connectors have saved it. It's PCB may be bent and a little de-laminated but it's still good.

LOL sorry it's a bit ordinary looking.. Going back to soft tube after a few yrs, and Also having not installed all the bullshit software to turn all the bullshit unicorn RGB either off, or to something less annoying. So yeah, just wasn't overly motivated to take a pic quite yet :/
