    Hi,

I have a dual Socket C32 based motherboard (a Supermicro H8DCL-iF); from what I've read online, the C32 socket is similar to Socket AM3 - but I can't find a layout online to confirm.

I'm trying to figure out if the Corsair H80i V2 will work on my motherboard basically before I go out and buy it. Appreciate any help anyone can offer.

    Thanks.

I've not personally used any C32 system but the mounting is more akin to Socket 939/754 than AM3

After a google around it seems nearly any cooler that latches onto the brackets (if you have them) will work just fine

    looks amd by the latches
but, normally the amd brackets have 4 screw holes, this has 2, so wont the H80i need the under bracket to screw to ?

I've been looking at a heap of pictures online and it seems the 2 screws on either side from the CPU centre are at the same distance as for those on the AM3 socket.
I guess I'll just have to buy a WC cooling kit that has brackets for all AM1/2/3/4 CPUs and try it out, as the documentation seems quite sparse.
