    Good news I suppose, should make crossfire a very cheap & viable upgrade path for the many who already have a 4series card.

    yup i am sitting on 2 4850's and a 4870 1 gb so that should let me crossfire up :)

    well if the price cut gets here soon the 2 of the HD4890 will only be $507AUD but the the HD4870x2's are still sitting at $599<750.
