    hey all,

I recieved a TWKR part last week.. Just got around to playing with it today, got seriously distracted by my new phone =p

Unfortunately I don't have the Liquid Helium those european guys have to play with, but we have plenty of liquid nitrogen here...

I've started with the DFI board that I know how to use, but I will definatly do some testing on the Gigabyte 790FXT UD5P and Asus Crosshair III in the forthcoming days...

    6682mhz validation!

    6370mhz pass of 3d05..

This platform is alot of fun, more to come in the following days...

    what was the NB speed
that is very important as well from what i've been told for efficiency

bloody awesome clocks for LN2 only

dont worry about the score, its running the microsoft intergrated drivers, just what matters is its passing at that speed ;)

have not even touched nb frequency yet, it was around 2000~, should be able to bench at 4500+~ if previous cpus are any indiciation.. and yet for 3d05 it will be a big influence, much more than any ram clocks here

Hey champ^^^, perhaps you should post in AMD forum since this forum is dedicated more to questions and answers regarding Overclocking. And also, makes it very central for all AMD CPUs
Indeed. I gained 1000 points in 3dmark06 just by increasing NB to 2400. I know others in AMD forum here have hit 3000MHz NB with slight increase in NB voltage. i have seen xtreme hit 4000 mhz nb

2800 NB is an average increase with only 1.2V on the NB. Also HT increase can further increase performance so long as it is < or = NB

Very nice! So what's the performance like on these CPU's clock for clock versus Intel? Namely the Nehalem CPUs?
