Computer Alliance and Umart both had the first ryzen on day 1 but neither had a pre-release.
From the email I received this morning the AMD testing numbers for these 2000 series chips are from February
I'd say they've been stock pilling and filling the channels, so supply wont be a problem. It should be as simple as walking in and buying...
Just a gut feeling, i may be way off

Not sure if it's been discussed yet, but will BIOS updates released to allow support for Ryzen 2 APU's work to support Ryzen 2 parts? Or will we need to wait for vendors to release specific BIOS updates from B350 motherboards to allow support for the new CPU's?

Gonna update to a 2700X, but want to ensure my motherboard supports it first!

EDIT: Reading some leaked reviews, it looks like it will work on a B350 board out of the box, but may have some issues hitting higher clocks on pre-launch BIOS's...

They will follow, none yet though to my knowledge.
What do people think of Asus's new Strix design with the word cloud thingo on the heatsinks?
I think I prefer the matte grey tbh

Case gear now has 5 X470 boards. 3 Asus, 2 Jigabites.
Waiting on more ITX boards to appear.

Probably when the rest of the CPU line drops I'd say. Not long though.

Was there more differences between the X470 and B450 chipsets than previously?

There are specific BIOS updates for Pinnacle Ridge and I would advise getting them installed before using 2nd Gen.

If you're buying the board new then you can usually ask the store to flash the newest BIOS on there for you before they ship it off :)

I'll flash to latest BIOS before updating, but I already have a B350i and will be buying a 2700x on Wednesday.

HOLY SHIT! You guys see this?

1800x were getting to 5.2,looks like 12nm is scaling in line with 14nm
the inevitable revision that will eventually flow through should see a solid speed bump on air :)

2600x are preorder in lots of stores now too
    $319

Computer Alliance had this to say
two things i thought interesting in that
    1. 20th ? wtf, 19th is release day, no ?
    2. 4.2ghz, well thats the boost speed not the base clock of 3.6.
never mind, mwave not wanting to be outdone on clocks are calling their 2600x's 4.25ghz cpu's :D

scorp now have eight x470 mobos up too :)
