Fuck me dead, they want $16USD to access a DEMO of a game that is FREE?

Fuck File Planet, scourge of game demo's!

EDIT: *AND* they have a disclaimer stating that subscription does not guarantee participation in the demo. Wonderful false advertising.

the beta (or alpha) was leaked, some videos on youtube for preview - looks quite good overall. the beta is public afaik so don't give your money to fileplanet.

I'm quite impressed with the movement etc so far, still doing some basic training at the moment. LOTS of keys, which I'm not used to, will have to knock up a Nostromo profile pronto. :)

Haven't really gotten into the earlier ones, but I think I might just give this a go when it comes out

Oh AA. I enjoyed it quite a bit, up until the point I was banned for a month for 'cheating' when I wasn't. I merely won a game 1v6. Never returned to it after that. Will be glad for AA3 to give me the spirit to have a chop again. Honestly I mostly just enjoyed the detailed training I thought that whole thing was very well done, and making it hard to get into Sniper school was a nice challenge.

    *fingers crossed* for triplehead support.

I assume its probably Unreal 3 engine. Historically that's meant widescreen support = cheating so go to hell all you people... :(

Isn't that what EA said about BF2 and 2142?

I'll be having a play, but can't say im a fan of all the training etc. Cause once your in the game no one gives a shit about team work.

That happens a lot on Australian/New Zealand servers with egotistical admins. I get accused constantly by a clan that runs multiple AA2 servers, but they have no evidence that I do so (because I don't) and I record the gameplay footage most times now anyway. It's an unfortunate part of online gaming.

God I used to hate the compulsory training missions, fuck they were boring and useless.
Animation has always been a bit wanky in the AA games, hopefully this version brings it up to standard.

Is this a completely new DL?

Can't patch from the current version?
