It's been awhile since i've posted an anime related shoot in the photography forum. This set is shot with the new Daylight globes that I got. The slight chromatic aberration that used to happend with warmwhite globes is completely eliminated. The colours are richer and warmer. Pretty happy with this set. Haven't been able to take the camera out lately due to work and weather. Also light tent has been in storage due to some renovation work at home. Finally able to shoot something, feels good. :D

Anyway here we go... She's the female vampire from the anime series Rosario+Vampire. Her name is Akashiya Moka.

And yes that's a mirror base.

CC welcome if it's regarding the photos themselves. :)

Loving shot 1, covers all the right areas and leaves you "wanting more" (Just saying similar to if it were a human model, etc, not commenting on the models just saying the positions the makers put them into obviously think long and hard about it!).

I'm not a big fan of the way the stand sort of seems to jut right up into her ass though.

Last shot got any more with a little extra in focus? As the tip of the shoe is dark it's kind of hard to see the in focus area. Which sort of makes it look almost all blurry.

edit: @ and 3 don't really do much for me, perhaps just the angling which puts me off a bit.

Yeh the angle of the 1st shot is delibrate. :D There's one from a slightly different angle on my webpage. But I like this shot more. The stand is a cross that she's sitting on. The angle of the shot doesn't look good I agree lol.

I think the 3rd shot and last shot the DOF are ok. But I can see what you're saying. Different tastes. :) But there is a faint reflection from the top of the mirror due to the size of the figure + thickness of the glass. This also make it look kinda fuzzy.

Something different. Trying different framing techniques. :)

Lol Ask her as a birthday present one year perhaps? :D

    Thanks mate. :D

Thanks all for the comments. :D:thumbup:
