Any idea when these hit Australia? I think the 300 is here already, not sure about the 1200 though.

The 1200 looks good, so does the 300 but I've seen reviews where the cm 690 (my future case) beats it with cable management, storage racks, toolless design etc.

    Thoughts?

Antec Nine-Hundred (what is currently on the market)
    Antec Three-Hundred
    Antec Twelve Hundred

The new two are based on the Nine-Hundred Series.

The Antec Three-Hundred is alredy on pre-order in a few stores, no idea when it officially comes out.

Yeah, I'm looking at the 1200 is cable management and airflow is good, also if it's not over $150 lol. 300 I'd get if it beats cable management and cooling in the 690, I doubt it though.

Nope, nothing on the antec website...no idea why.

I doubt the 1200 will be as cheap as $150, look closer to $200 easy :D as the Nine-Hundred series already costs around the 150 mark.

    Yea, logical really.

    IMO
$100 mark for the Antec 300 (meant to compete against the CAC-T05/CM 690 IIRC)
$150-$200 mark would be held by the Antec 900.
$200-$300 mark for the Antec 1200?

Yeah the 300 is supposed to compete with 690 in the budget market.

I still think the 690 will win with cable management.

i have seen these close up and, and the 300 is crap, looks ugly...not alot of room to work with, and also it doesnt come with a window but it would be good to mod to make it better, put 120mm blue led fans at front, paint inside black. add a window
but all in all buy the 690, better money spent there.

the 1200 is bloody awesome 10x better then the 900, it has just about every thing the 900 lacked
plus the 1200 is huge..makes the 300 and mini very very small

and the mini p180 is also very cool, and worth the money and has great cooling
it was designed to be more portable for lans etc

if u think the 1200 is going to be under 150, ur living in a dream world and i want to come there.....

I saw these all 1st hand at a antec reseller dinner,

Cheers for the info, always good to hear it from someone who's seen them in person.

Also i saw a post on the whirlpool forums that a user emailed antec about the Antec 1200 case and they said that australia is expected to get it late march, early april of this year.

I've actually seen a 1200 in person, much better than the 900 much better cabling options, though the mesh surround on the bigboy fan on top looks like a little bit of an afterthought and IMO isn't quite as clean as the top panel on the 900. Didn't get to play with the 300 though.
And yes they are due in Aus late march, early april.
