Recently I have discover ants running around on my table, at first I ignored for it, thinking it come from outside, then I got more and more ants, so I started tracking it, it goes from my table to the mouse cable and then into my Asus Z77 Sabertooth motherboard through the ethernet and USB 3 port on the back. There is no other source of the ants marching line but the motherboard. WTF, is a queen ants inside the motherboard? The computer is running fine though.

I have to sprayed and vacuum up as many ants as possible outside and when the ants come out of the USB/Ethernet port, but there seem to be endless supply of ants coming out!

You can see the ants crawling around and inside the USB port in the pic. I don't how much ants are there inside the motherboard.

    What should I do?

get that Ant Rid sticky ant stuff and kill them.

After they have all stopped - pull the entire machine down and rebuild it.

Alternatively just pull the machine down and clean the chassis out - little bastards have to be in there somewhere.

Then call the pest man and get your place sprayed!

The Z77 Sabertooth is an enclosed motherboard. I don't think I can take it apart.

Just put a couple of the art rid pods on and near the pc. It infects them and kills the colony, you won't see them again.

Does anyone know if an ant colony has to have a queen ant? If yes, will it be stuck inside the motherboard forever?

Don't be too complacent, remember "Aliens"

Ripley: They grab the colonists, they move them over there and they immobilize them to be hosts for more of these. Which would mean that there would have to be a lot of these parasites, right? One for each colonist. That's over a hundred at least.
    Bishop: Yes, that follows.
Ripley: But each one of these things comes from an egg, right? So who's laying these eggs?
Bishop: I'm not sure. It must be something we haven't seen yet.

I would be surprised if the "armour" on the sabretooth is not removable.

I'd want to clean out any dead ants and eggs under it, that's for sure.

Those ants are stealing your data via the USB ports.........they're probably working for the NSA and are all for George Soros' New World Order. Call in the experts. There's only one thing on the planet that can fix this, but be warned you may have lick marks on your Mobo...........

I say we dust off, nuke the motherboard from orbit. Only way to be sure.

Aint no body got time for that! I'll just kill every ants I see that's scrawling around scouting for food. I'm using siege stratagem, starve them to death.
