    Sarcasm aside, assuming it's one of those extended DVI connectors that is extended to fit on the second slot of a dual slot card then it might be feasible to remove the shielding and cut the pins with snips provided you don't need the DVI connector to go back on. It would be considerably more difficult for a standard DVI connector that sits flush on the PCB.

    Can't picture it but couldn't you just use some copper gauze? then just use whatever chunky soldering iron you've got and melt the solder into the gauze leaving the pins free to fall through?

    Why do you require the removal of the connector?
