Currently using filechecker.exe on pc and it's very simple...

select your directory (it does recursive which is what I want) and hit start...

checking it is the same, except u load the md5...

Anyone know of a simple utility in OS x that will allow you to create a md5 file from a diretory recursively and then check that back?

if not, is there a command I can use? - i read some where that OS X has a built in md5 util that can be run from the terminal...

I dont know about gui stuff, but the terminal command that you want is md5sum.

do "man md5sum" for some documentation.
