21:9 ratio 3440x1440 resolution, which is the same as the Acer Predator X34. Spread of difference is there's 1 more inch viewable and the panels are IPS vs VA.

Price probably at this stage looking similar (£799) $AU1090 after conversion, VAT removal and then the Australia tax has come into play.

    Release date in March.

Other links. Panel is coming from an AU Optronics manufacturer.

Real world and gaming experience wise though, is there a perceptible difference between IPS and VA? IPS I read is best for consistent colour representation and VA has some variance and colour shift depending on viewing angle. Now I don't do photoshop or photographic work and the panel is going to be for media consumption. Will there be a major detriment/benefit between the two panels?

VA will be better gaming then an IPS, also much better blacks. Makes it better for movies too.

IPS is going to be slightly better IQ/colours and angles but for gaming meh..

Def one to keep eye on!

any news on AU availability? I noticed that Scorptec will have the AG352QCX in stock as from march, but no news on the AG352UCG.

AG352QCX only has 1080p resolution, which is not sufficient for me for 35"

HDR is not necessary for me. Gsync and high refresh rate + 1440p is all I want!

I thought the same but Hitman has a HDR option now so it seems important for gaming.

looks like this screen will go on sale in Europe/US as from next week.
Does anybody have experience with 'Shopmate' to get this to AU?
    Pro's? Con's?

Think it'll still take a while before we'll be able to buy this screen here...

What's the comparable price of this thing against an IPS panel like the X34 Acer?

Are VA panels generally cheaper than IPS ones?

It's on Amazon on preorder for 900 USD for the moment. So should be <1200 AUD hopefully (excluding potential Australia tax)

Great to hear! Even at the lowest, the X34 is about $1300 currently.
