Solo would be a bit of a clusterfuck. Probably get half your kills shooting someone in the back having a long winded firefight with someone else given the high TTK, movement etc.

Squad suits it, duo might be alright.

    I run a 1070 as well, but my monitor is 2560*1600 16:10

i set it to 8gb on the graphics card setting because my card has 8 gb ram on it.

my system also only has 8gm of system ram... Need more haha.

and an amd 2600 cpu, I'm yet to do the lower cpu ratio up the ram speed to utilise the 3000MHz ram...

everything on low and the game still looks good.

    getting 85-130fps

I wonder how a 30 vs 30 would go in context of having dedicated support class(es?). Complete lovely chaos in Fortnite, but you also auto-respawn with your loadout so no great loss.

Kinda like I got a full squad down (as in I got all 3 kills and got the badge) with a total of 44 damage, I didnt steal from my team mates either, they had legit just finished a fire fight I think, first bloke I knocked with a whopping 8 damage long shot form the prowler :p

That's the thing: I don't know if the RAM count in the texture streaming budget is total or in addition too. It can't be the bog standard texture quality option because you can set the TSB to off which means it must allocating a chunk of the VRAM for new textures to be loaded in later.

I have 32GB of RAM so i could push more but i think there's a bug with my 1070's power management where if it hits 99% GPU load it causes the GPU to downclock and cause massive FPS drops so i have to cap the FPS to get a smooth experience.

on another note, I get 2 kills...both of them champions :D:

I feel like Apex Legends needs a practice mode to let you play around with the legends before you jump into a proper match

    Why?

Ain't nobody give shit about stats in this game. Just jump in and try shit out :p

I'm finding I'm not spending enough time looking at what all the attachments do. Just grab shit and run. Will come with time, but I might have to slow down and see what each thing does each time.

So just figure it out in a game? You can read what they do, use it once, then you know. Its not a competitive ranked play game, who gives a fuck if you cop some deaths or losses, can you even look at overall account stats somewhere?

I thought the training arena already provided that.

For guns, yeah, although some attachments wouldn't go astray. Worth having a play with, shotgun spread patterns are an interesting detail you might not notice when playing.

But unless I'm an idiot there's no way to swap heroes and play with abilities?

Phwoar, just had best game yet. 9 kills, squad came third. Spitfire is ace when it's fully kitted and you've got hundreds of rounds to spare. Just start chasing and spray away.

So many easy mistakes could be avoided if I got to play with the abilities beforehand. I think it would be a good onboarding tool.
