App to connect to data service at scheduled time

    Hi all,

    Im looking for an app that will activate my data connection and check my emails/other apps and then disconnect again after so many minutes. Preferably allowing me to set it to go off every hour or some such.
    My phone is rooted if that helps :)

    Any suggestions would be great.

    There is an app that you can set up to script lots of stuff like that

    eg at work (via gps) turn phone silent.

    I can't remember what it's called though :mad:

    Anyone have an app that changes to silent in sync with words in your google calendar?
    I am a shift worker, so the others rely on turning to silent at 8am to 4 pm every week day..where as i would need it to go to silent when my calendar says days shift or afternoon shift...

    Clem, get "Locale" it sets your phone state based on your location.
