iOS users secretly wish they had a back button at the bottom instead of always right at the top.

just always in the same spot would be nice, i don't like how with android every different app has a different UI

yeah i get the back button is a hardware one usually but that's not all android devices

I find the closed ecosystem to be old school. The pressing movement these days is to expand and free share, we can see that in social media. Closed closely driven rule based proprietary stuff for a limited audience really isn't in keeping with the times imo.

Social media is a scourge on our society and not something we should be striving to extend to other areas.

Drives me mad, I wont lie!

I don't necessarily disagree but it's just one example. The modern concept is about openness and sharing.

These were ancient concepts long before the greedy modern world where ideas were considered "owned" or "exclusive" to an individual or company.

Hell, these were even "computer science old" concepts in as far as the earliest software of the 70s and early 80s was all free, source code was supplied, and you could do whatever you want with it. You sold hardware, and have users software to do whatever they wanted with it.

The idea of selling software at that time was laughed upon. The very idea that anyone would buy software independently of computers was considered a joke for quite some time.

Open source came first. This closed-source, proprietary world came much later, and sadly has stayed with us for far too long.

The idea of restricting your customer base from doing whatever the hell they want with the software they've purchased is ludicrous. Particularly when you consider that most of the big companies doing the restricting are American, and particularly when you consider the average American's opinion on other certain liberties.

I said nothing about opinions at all, read your post and tell me how it couldn't be construed as a troll

its just a comment the OS design. im just not sure why people would like android if they have a choice between the two. maybe we don't have a choice. does anyone here ever change between the two OS? i use android on my wife's phone. she prefers IOS but changed because 'apple is unethical'

I switch between the two, personally I prefer IOS because shit is optimized and it just works, it looks good, barely fucks up. But IOS is boring AF!

Android has little bugs that annoy the shit out of me, and a lot of the apps look and feel like a potato compared to their IOS counterpart.

In saying that, Android gives you WAY more customization compared to IOS (without having to jailbreak)

There's pros and cons to both and I can see why people would chose either, tbh.

LOL @ "Apple is unethical". Like Google is any more ethical with the current antitrust investigation by 48 US states and recent scandal with David Drummond and past scandal with Sergey Brin.

Why would people like Android if they have a choice between the two? Stop trolling mate!

    Been an expensive week.

    2x 11 Pro Max (256 green/64 silver)
    2x Apple Watch (42&44mm)

Painful when the wife has accidentally synced up on the same upgrade cycle.

I buy all my phones outright, not paying $100 + a month when I get a excellent month to month plan for $35
