Otherday Camberwell (VIC) cleared them out at $149. Talked to manager and asked when dropping form $300. Said given it states week 44 that meant clearing that week and they did. Perfect height for small child, detail and decals look great.

I only saw a ticket for the sf ones, I think it was $299. They had a pile at Strathpine last Thursday when I was there too, but only sf ones there.

If anyone is looking to mod these cabs, I can confirm this LCD controller works on the included screen on my SF2 unit.

The OSD came in Chinese but was able to set this to English using google translate phone app. I've only tested the HDMI input and it's working fine :)

Not at my local store (Kessels road) still rocking 299.
Asked, they said no plans to drop the price right now....
But, tomorrow is another day :)

Now that's an interesting use of the space

I ordered 29th Dec and it arrived 17 Jan. I looked at a few sellers and they all quoted 1-2 month postage so just picked the cheapest one at the time ($23.86).

I'd like to replace the joysticks and buttons next with something that doesn't feel so cheap. Not sure how to spot the sanwa/happ fakes on ebay though, might look for some local arcade supply stores to make sure it's the real deal.

My local ALDI in Secret Harbour Perth has 2 cab's but they've only dropped the price to $199, think they are both Gauntlet not SF2 didn't look too closely last night. I would have been tempted if it was SF2 but I'm almost finished bartop xmas holiday project.

    Cheers,
    Shane.

Looking at mods people I have seen they all seem to be replacing the current joystick and buttons. Anyone retained them and mod to raspberry pi?

Mine is the older version i bought several years ago with the square USB B connector, bought from Austin as well and xinmo branded. I'd have no hesitation buying from Austin Amusements again, received awesome after sales support from Steve.

    Cheers,
    Shane.
