That's amazing how you always seem to get a photo of Saturn in the bottom corner of your photos.

Seriously though, this is pretty amazing. Very nice work mate.

Was keeping up with this prior to the build initially starting but never came back!

I have two things to say:

    1. This is THE most amazing project I've seen on OCAU.
    2. You are one crafty motherfucker, I envy your creativity and engineering skills.

I'm not really even into astronomy but boy, I sure do feel the juices flowing to get involved.

Seriously, you should post this to Reddit, this is fucking amazing.

Given everything he is looking at is in the past, might be a good term for it!

    Awesome work man, great achievement!

    I love your mission statement!

I have a framed photo of Pale Blue Dot above my desk with Sagans famous quote on it, for exactly the same reason you have listed in you mission statement.

Keep up the good work :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Love it - I've driven past your place a couple of times and seen it out the front!

Would love to bring my 4 year old around some time!

Wow. What a response! I'm very pleased to hear that this build motivates folks to get into it! Thanks so much. I'll have a look into Reddit.

    Bless ya!

    Thank you sir!

As passtimes go it can be very exciting, satisfying, challenging, dissapointing, boring, frustrating and infuriating.

Many times I have faced challenges and closed doors and considered bulldozing the site then having a sacrificial burning while I dance around the fire naked screaming like a banshee......

Thanks mate! Feel free to spam the heck out of your social media with it! ;)

Which Sagan quote? He's got so many.

That's what it's here for. Message me and we'll get it happening.

Thanks everyone for your kind support and encouragement. It's good to hear that it inspires when I have sacrificed so much to make it happen.

    Bless ya all!

    Baz.

Thanks for that. I agree with almost all of it, except I don't think it's a delusion at all that we have a privileged position in the universe..... :D

    Yep, every other human!

    Cheers!

Sorry, I agree with Sagan there

Will you keep this thread up to date with new photography? Or do you have a separate thread for that?
