49 hours, level 40, 40% complete, fark this game is huge! I'm probably about two thirds through the map so story completion is probably heavily weighted in the games completion percentage, haven't touched the main story since around the five hour mark
This is currently on sale on Uplay for $63 aud. But if you can wait till christmas there will probably be cheaper deals. Making my way through Syndicate before jumping onto this .
This game is thrashing my 4690k and making me consider retiring the old girl, the graphics are amazing however and the game seems fun even though I've only just started it.
I think this is a more CPU heavy game then others, good excuse to grab a nice 8700k. I still think its an average port in terms of performance for the hardware you throw at it though.
Finally clearing the map and now on to the main story missions. Sitting at 60% completion now but that percentage is rising quickly due to storming through the story. Still loving it!
Finished Syndicate and bought this on friday. 9hrs in and it's awesome....great step up from Syndicate. Only problem now is I want a new graphics card .
what's the difference between the dynamic resolution and the resolution multiplier? i thought they did the same thing?
Been resource gathering and completing as many side quests as possible to level my character and gear.
I've been doing the same....though I've noticed more than a couple times some '!' side quests point me to a few places labelled '?' that I've already cleared so I might leave the question mark ones alone for the time being. Killed my first couple of Phylakes
Just picked up the Gold edition from GMG for 65 bucks. Performance has been pretty good and just got to the first town out of Siwa, really enjoying it so far still getting use to the new combat mechanics though.
Na ended up AUD $68 they had a discount going plus an extra 20% code or something i got in an email. Having issues in Alexandria the game literally stops for a like 5 seconds and then starts again. Happened a dozen times and the last one cause a restart... No O/C or anything tried setting affinty to high and that worked for a bit... Anyone else had any dramas?
I did get some hitching but i tried again and played for a good hour or so last night and it was all fine...very strange. I haven't had any crashes or extended freezing....yet. I wonder if it's due to the CPU usage?
Ye CPU usage is at 100% its not at temp issue though as its under water and looking at the stats with Aida everything is fine.
