On Sunday the 8th July i competed against the likes of Coolaler from Taiwan, Shamino from Singapore, and many other teams from around the region including Indonesia, China, Malaysia, India.
With a lot of preparation and planning, and a bit of luck from the hardware gods I managed to take the victory convincingly having won 3 out of the 4 benching tests (2nd in SuperPI 4m to Coolaler).

    Lots of info here:
    Day 2 - http://sg.vr-zone.com/?i=5108

And at various forums including i4memory.com, vr-zone.com.sg, xtremesystems.org, etc

Everyone knows about this! Just not on this forum ;)
    i4memory.com is my e-home.

There will be a full write up with plenty of photos of my own sometime soon once ive actually slept a bit and caught up on work, then cleaned up my entire house because in the week leading up to it i basically coated every surface with PC stuff.

If you are trying to find me, look for the one and only caucasian. Easy to spot once you narrow it down to the pics of people holding trophies :)

Scored some great loot for prizes:
Asus P5K3, Kingston DDR3, Asus 8800 Ultra, FSP 1010W PSU, AC Ryan HSS Cases, SGD$1K, etc.

Plus i got to meet the man himself Coolaler (got him to sign a polo lol)

If you had any clue on who he is, then you'd understand.
That man practically walks on water when it comes to overclocking and tweaking, which is something that this website is supposed to be dedicated to (so why are you here?) :Paranoid:

If the admins here want front page news, hit me up via PM and i'll organise a load of material to publish.

Also keep ur eyes glued to atomicmpc for a full birds eye view article.

    Thanks for the link.
Couple mistakes in there, like the fact no-one was allowed to use LN2, so all were DICE or chilled water.
    Also it was 3DMark'01.

4.4-4.55GHz on Quad Core on DICE is very respectable, so i dont agree with the author on that.

    There's an overclocking championship?

Finally proof I'm not nearly as a big of a geek as some people think I am. :p :D

In case you haven't noticed this site has grown from being solely about overclocking to covering a WIDE range of hardware/software enthuisiasts and the many other pastimes they may have eg motoring/photography etc. So your more likely to find people here from all walks of life who aren't neccessarily into overclocking, but have a common interest in Computers. So don't be suprised by these reactions.

I overclock Tim but I'm sure a large percentage of OCAU'ers do not and even moreso worldwide. All I meant (I was being sarcastic btw) is your polo isnt gonna be worth shitloads cos only a very small percentage of the population even care about overclocking. Like I said well done though, what you acheived is very respectable indeed to those of us who do care (myself included).

Yup congrats T_M ... and making it on the inquirer too!

I didn't go... I would of been a bit useless on day 2 with no prior DI or volt modding experience :o

T_M, you might have actually put Australia (oh and i4memory.com) on the map for the world overclocking scene after this
