Well havent shared much of late.. after almost 9 months I finally had time to get out for another sunrise.. kinda hard to believe it was really that long.

    Nikon D90
    Sigma 10-20mm
    Cokin Z121S GND
    f16 / 1/2 sec / ISO200

Why my d90? It's a workhorse.. it's resolution is good.. it's light compared to the 617 I am dragging around with me and it can handle everything I throw at it (unlike my 190XPROB which is ready to be put out to pasture it seems...)

Nice colours. But the horizon looks ..tilted?
Gives me motivation to process a sunrise shoot at Narrabeen lakes!

I want to see more wideness. There's no room to breathe.

There are a few spots I have been meaning to try there, but the sunrise trajectory wont work for it at the moment.. plus its hard to find foreground interest there.

Horizon.. well shooting 14mm I have already done some lens geometric repairs but not much can be done there with the 10-20. In the center of the frame is a wave line, and there is the cloud sitting on the horizon which also skews the eye as it lifts away from near the center to the right of frame. I have tweaked a bit more (I line it up with a browser) but it still has a curve.

    It is what it is.

Has been working ok for many? I have re-added the BB code just incase

Was standing on a rock surrounded by water that was being invaded, so it kind of felt like that :)
