I still play quake3 dm17 a fair bit, koopz is good value on a lan with that, i get sworn at a lot (railgun)

got some quake2 lined up with some mates at a lan tomorroz, looking forward to some ctf on smelter, and maybe some rocket arena2

actually still have my "retro" box from the quake2 days lying around, kept it for the battleisle 2 install, P2 350, dual voodoo2s (needs a bat file to restart in ems memory if i recall correctly). ffs, i should go find it.

pretty sure battleisle 2 is abandonware these days.

I have many fond memories of Q2DM1.
    I think I preferred Quake 2 over Quake 3.

HoMM3 with SoD and WoG expansion. Too addictive to put down for good, so I don't recommend touching this game. Its a game that will come back to haunt you time and again.

personal favourites are Need For Speed SE like in this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgecLAwSTaU graphics wise, it was limited by system availability at the time *p120 vesa 2.0, dos4gw *se added directx2 and win95 support plus extra tracks.. the realism in the car handling and the tracks were very good. nfs2 had nothing on it except glide support

its a shame my disc failed and even when i download it, getting xp to run it is nigh impossible

also a fan of orig worms..

Still remember driving on that road! Awesome game for it's day!

I remember the best thing (for me) were the videos for each car - basically a two minute movie of them thrashing each car out on a skid pan/race track - just awesome in it's day.

when nfs2 came out. well the demo, i still had the p100 *120over clocked and the
s3 trio 64v+ so it didnt run very well, but even so, i just couldnt get in to it, like worms 2, the graphics got too cartoonish.

the amount of times id drive the alpine track while under the influence, i nearly shit myself on those close calls when you round a bend and neigh cop a van in the bonnet or come screaming over the hill and leap over the opponents car. man that was fun.

the first time i ever saw it was at a games shop which was down stairs in a building in the queen street mall brisbane. they had a dual control flight stick connected to it and i was sold,. never seen such a nice flight stick set it was helicopter style./

    Playing C&C3 atm.

With all graphic settings to maximum and 1920*1080 resolution is runs SWEET!
Levels load in about 2 seconds flat and the character details is amazing.

Pretty much any of the Splinter Cell games run great too.

And any of the 2D Worms games on a 24 inch screen is orgasmic

OMG! +1 to Blade Runner. I want to play again for all the alternate endings.
The artwork in that game was truly amazing.
