    The fungus was mostly fixed by frequent salt bathes and indian almond leaves.

    Yes they do regrow their gills as well as limbs. They are studied in a lot of labs world wide for their amazing regenerative powers :) this is one of the babies the photos were taken 2 weeks apart [​IMG]

    My brother has one. He's had his for 8 years now. Very interesting creatures these be.

    I have had a few, feeding them daily is as challenge. I fed live crickets and worms. Supposed to be very tasty for then.. You can wave it in front of ones face and they won't eat it.

    Some adults will eat daily some will eat every other day but even the pickiest axies I have will eat every 3rd. Its just that a lot of pet stores will tell you to feed them once a week which is pushing it to the extreme

    Mine lives in 22-26c water because I don't have a chiller :( Looking to buy one very soon!
