Nope. I sincerely doubt it will be anything earth-shattering, but. A tablet, an MP3 player, or another shithouse headset.

Although that hexagon in the middle does bring to mind the X-Fi's ring structure...

I saw it this morning, and a "great" guessing competition as to what it is.
Some of our answers they might not like (e.g. another crappy headset with a game logo on it, poor quality overpriced sound card with a Fatal1ty logo on it or a mp3 player that struggles to keep up with an Apple product).
    I don't think I'll enter thier competition.

Keep trying to be the Singaporean Sony, Creative. See how that works out for you.

Actually, that doesn't seem to be working out so well for the Japanese one, either, come to think of it.

They should be lobbying the fuck out of MS to put an X-Fi in the Xbox 720.

    Wow, really, thats it?

Ha. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

lithos, as per usual in matters of pc audio, has the hot tip here- creative should have been going hard on 3D sound being the next 3D graphics and getting into next-gen consoles.

Sweet, they got some out-of-work Aussie actor to do an awkward "Seriously, this is what I do, and I totally needed this" ad .

Don't worry mate. I'm sure the West End'll call back on that Axx soon.

    And just for Catalyst:

Wait, what? I don't even, but? Huh?

Thank christ i don't have sound on my work pc.

I'll go an extended rant about this later, but since when the fuck have "Creative" made lifestyle products? And why does the SoundBlaster name have value in this segment?

I'm surprised a Singaporean company got an Aussie actor to do ad for their product - are we to assume the AXX is targeted at the Poor White Trash of Asia?

And, catalyst, don't you check all your prints on the kitchen bench, like a proper photographer? (Studios and offices are clearly not for creative types.)

My favourite part, however, is that guy on the phone and Mark clearly didn't record their lines at the same time, or even have access to the other's recording.

    Worst ad. EVER.

The actor didn't even sound like he believed in the product. And lol @ "creative person".

I'm pretty sure "Mark" on the phone is a Cylon.
