Impulse games install as a normal game with a shortcut and all most of the time. So yeah, you can link them in as a non steam game. I do it all the time so my friends know what I am playing and can jump in

tempted to buy Defense Grid: The Awakening for only $6.

does anyone know if I buy it from Direct2Drive can I then link it to Steam and get the Steam achievements etc? Or do I need to buy the Steam specific version? Thank you.

Great game. But the Relic account system with Steam is an absolute bitch. Record your cd-keys whatever you do.

Very tempting for approximately $40 AUD. I wonder if the price will drop again though, seems quite cheap to begin with @ $39.99 USD.

remember... steam WILL let you cancel a pre-order!!

seriously if you're keen on it... don't delay!

Just did then, I'll hold you personally responsible if the price goes down...

How do you cancel a pre-order anyway?

haha it might go down after release in 6-12 months... but i'm about 99% sure it won't get any cheaper than this before release
