Three new games have been added to the Humble Deep Silver Bundle.

    - Metro 2033
    - Risen
    - Sacred Citadel

New games are available to those who have already beaten the minimum price, currently $5.

Nuuvem.com.br has Saints Row IV for BR$75 (AU$38 with Paypal's exchange rate). Is it safe to say that's the cheapest (and non-AU version to boot)?

Edit & warning: According to steamdb there is a specific BR version. I don't know enough about this stuff but I assume this means BR restricted keys.

Edit 2: The version currently available in BR Steam store is actually "Saints Row IV Pre-purchase (ROW)" (ie not region locked). I'm making a lot of assumptions here, but if Pre-purchase means the Commander in Chief edition, then the CiC at Nuuvem won't be region locked either.

    Well, it's a gamble.

Genuine retailer like GG, GMG, etc but it's in Brazil.

So that's the catch. Signup is a little hairy if you don't speak Portuguese. And although nothing I've bought from them has been region locked, it's not impossible.

Surely not worth the risk for like...10 bucks?

What risk? Just because it's a non English speaking site doesn't mean it isn't legit. I've made about 5 Steam purchases from them and they've all activated, and played, without any qualms

No it doesn't necessarily mean that. But sites like that do put me less at ease than, say, GMG et al.

Possibly no risk, but also would be hesitant to give out my bank details to sites that have a chance of being shady.

    For such small gains.

I'm not going to argue with you about whether or not Nuuvem "has a chance of being shady" because I already covered that in my post just above.

But I will say that your "small gains" equates to 25% off compared to, say, Amazon and for most people visiting this thread that's a pretty big deal. This thread absolutely thrives on $5 and $10 discounts! :D

I'd pay above retail if it means circumventing our ridiculous nanny state censorship.

I've been buying from Nuuvem for months with no issues. They're perfectly legit, and often have some great deals. I picked up Tomb Raider on release for $26.

I bought it too. First time on Nuuvem, so I presume on release I get the key to input into steam?

(My first pre order for a game in a LONG TIME)...

There's only ever been a couple of instances I've heard of where foreign keys didn't work (and Russian keys look cheaper than Brazilian). But the big thing to me is I don't want to load up my account with these keys just in case Valve do start restricting access one day.

Just a shame it's not on GMG anymore, it was up for preorder at $37.50 at one point (and the current 20% off code would make it $40), but it's not even listed on the site (old URL gives a 404).

Yeah, it'd be the same as GMG etc preorders where they don't get keys from the publisher until the game comes out.

The issue there isn't foreign keys per se, but the fact of Russian keys being stripped from boxed copies. Avoid key sellers for the reasons you mention.

Games bought from foreign retailers (remember this includes places like Amazon) - they get their keys direct from publishers, NOT from boxed copies - shouldn't ever be a problem. You can always provide proof of purchase to Steam support. You CAN'T do that with keysellers.

GMG will only be selling the censored AU version (eventually).
