So the thing is battery life sucks. 2x AA cells. Really sucks. It goes into low warning like 3-5 minutes of on time. Do batteries just blow chunks these days? I've been running the aldi batteries in it, decided to try some double the cost duracels, (lasts 50% longer my arse they do), and have come up with similar results. They all suck so damn much.

    Any recommendations?

I recommend you put that puppy down; sounds like a camera (PCB) issue.

    Great excuse to upgrade.

Still works fine, just seems like a battery voltage droop issue.

Alright, I bought some Energiser lithium batteries on Thursday, $18 for a 4 pack at woollies. Yea. Anyway, it seems to have fixed it as I was able to do a shoot yesterday without it crapping out after 5 minutes and having to go through 3 pairs of batteries. So yep, batteries these days are just garbage and you may as well just buy an aldi pack instead of duracels.
