    Awwww Sheeeeet I just Jizzzzed!

    BIG TIME!

Tax check goin toward a Hex core this year me thinks.:D

    Trade in my 6950's for a 6990.

This is going to be another one of those rare moments when ya investment in 30" Dell pays off.

It's disappointing that one of the classes in going.

I'm not surprised Mod tools will not be available. I think there will be DLC and theater of war changes based on the game, much like BFBC2 and Vietnam.

Hmm.. so Q4 2011. What sort of hardware could we expect to be on the market around then for a Xmas BF3 rig? :)

I'm already contemplating a Dell U2711, but the hardware required to play bf3 at 2560x1440... surely that's gonna hurt!

Looks like that PC upgrade I've been mulling over has finally been justified.

Thank god we all bought BC2. This wouldn't have happened if we hadn't :D
We all deserve a pat on the back (if the game turns out to be as good as the preview sounds).

Sounds like they also have a clear direction they want the game to go.

I especially like the bit where it will be exclusively 64 player on PC and the console-kiddies are whining about a puny 32.

Also, for my mind, they have to have the commander. Integeral part of the game and the BF series. If they are having jets in the game again, maybe then the commander could have control over some SAM's

    :(
From the sounds of the article there isnt much hope for our Commander. He says in the article that the position was hardly played, yet in my 130 odd hours of time on ranked servers the commander position was always in hot contest and 80% of the time was filled by someone competent.

The UAV's in bc2 are no different to the commander position in that only 1 person could use it. And i found it was less effective as the person using it had to spend the majority of their time avoiding fire on the UAV.

Please Dice, dont dumb down the game for the benefit of people who dont care for those features. Keep them in and let the people who want to use them, use them properly... I feel for you Buzzpuppy :p

My little rant aside the article made me moist. I'm glad i have a year to save up for a new machine! :leet:
