If it makes you feel any better, I can't load the game. It just crashes.

I just noticed that AMD have released a new beta driver (13.11 Beta 8) that is meant to resolve crashes occurring in Battlefield 4 for players using Windows 8 (and I'm assuming Windows 8.1). I am going to try it now and see if it improves the situation. You can download the new beta driver here.

Finally got a playable fps on my laptop. Low settings. 25% resolution scale...I get 40fps but the quality is shit.

Wow what do you know, updating to the latest Nvidia drivers solved everything.

Running like a dream on a Mix of High and Ultra

Updating to the latest Nvidia drivers did nothing for me.

Still getting 1-2 fps in game.

It's completely and utterly unplayable, and there's a hell of a lot of people on the forums with the same problem.

Oh well, give em a day or two to fix it then ask for my money back and go back to NS2 lol

Only got about 1hr in lastnight, but ran like a dream on my 2500+ @4.5Ghz with 580GTX.

    Looked and sounded amazing.

But geez I'm rusty as fuck.

    Agreed on being rusty!

Just to let people know (and not a self wank at all), but I'm able to play 1900x1200 with mostly High settings and on my old 965BE and a 7970. It's not super duper fast but certainly very playable.

So even a 3 year old CPU is *ok*

Yeah...I had too high hopes :D

For some reason, I can't even play using a 64bit edition on low settings....Only 32bit...Anybody know why?

I'm getting about 30fps now with everything on low and resolution focus on 55%...

Disappointed, but at least it's playable!

the red dots not having any zoom is a huge game changer i feel. long range shooting is now a lot more difficult, its a shame that bullets turn to foam at any distance past 50m, players should get rewarded for long range shooting with assualt weapons

I like it, zoom is for blind people.

yeah absolutely, its a very welcomed change. ADS feels a lot more natural. also like the fact that your cant see the laser beam bullets in the air as easily

I almost have the same setup, played last night with super menu lag and averaging 5fps even on low. I updated latest Nvidia drivers, jumped back in and was silky smooth with everything on High, simple as that.

Hopefully that should be the same fix for you and anyone else out there with Nvidia/670's.

I thought it was an added bonus...Shooting from the hip with it while moving is also a little more difficult now...
