Funny how he lists a few of the reasons hardcore is easier - higher damage percentages, no "need" for suppressors, faster leveling of guns, etc - but then finishes by saying "try hardcore if you want something that is a bit more of a challenge".

Honestly, I play HC (I play both) because I like not having to aim for the head all of the time. I like that shooting my foe in the foot with an SSR will kill them.

Call it realism if you like (I guess it's at least partially true), but if you can aim, normal mode poses no great problem.

I have noticed HS register in normal seems off to me. In HC I average 3 out of every 5 kills is a headshot. In normal it's a lot lower, I've seen several shots spray blood from the head and no kill. Also claymores aren't a guaranteed kill either.

I also find if I'm in close quarters and don't have a full auto gun in normal, I better hope I'm inhumanly quick and accurate or the other guy is half blind.

Oh and C4 isn't a guarantee with 2 charges on a vehicle, not sure why but they seem to survive it in normal (on occasion).

I'm not going to spout "it's REAL LIFE BALLISTIX" nonsense but I'm a recon guy and it balances out all my preferred weapons so I don't feel so cheated often and being sneaky doesn't get you killed by a Q spammer (all the time).

In hardcore a HS is pretty much instant kill, in softcore it's not.

Hmm, I though a HS with a sniper in either was insta-kill.

Couple rounds on the server, not bad so far.

It will be good when we fill it and can stack on one team.

Server was good but just needs a bit of work (high ping kick etc.)
Also be handy if some of the OCAUers were given admin access to help keep it under control. I don't mind being a server admin again if you need

    That's a good point.

We should have at least one admin. If only to kick high pingers.
