Ahh, explains it. However it doesn't explain why you have to pay a premium for a static ip, as said even TPG give you a static one, I've had the same ip for about 3 years now.

Not that I care about the changing IPs but maybe run dyndns with a free domain? :p ha

Yeah, my IP address stays the same if I don't turn the modem off/reset it due to settings or there's an outage...

Pretty sure TPG don't actually static IP's on their NBN plans...

I actually own a domain... What's involved in using dyndns to use that domain instead of the IP address?

Depending on your router most will let you log into a dyndns account (or similiar provider) and it will push your ip to the providor, as for your url I think you could set a sub domain to it or similar. I've not used a service like this in some time but most had a free tier.

All things going well I will be on tonight. Nuked my OS last night so need to reinstall W7 and then hopefully good to go. Glad I backed up latest bf4 onto storage earlier this week.

Really need to keep my gamer for gaming only and stop benching with it.

Just copy the entire folder onto a storage drive. Then on a new drive (ssd) start the download to where you want it, pause it, copy across the folder and when download resumes it jumps to 99% and puts the finishing touches on it.

Hope everything is ok for you at home mate.
We all have things that take us away from the battlefield from time to time.
If you need someone to talk to flick me a pm, I'm always happy to listen :)
You have to look after yourself and your family.
Daylight savings finishes tomorrow! Should make it a bit easier for me to get some games in with you boys.

That was a fun map, well done on choppies.
That guy that parachuted out that choppy you eventually killed tried hard to c4 us but i emptied 50 rounds into him close range i recon. Lol.
One of my fav modes is choppy hunting and i think i racked up more tank/choppy kills in one map for quite a while.
Not many on last night, is everyone away for long w/e ?
Soz if i was off tilt last night guys as i consumed a bit too much of my liquid back pain fluids.
For medicinal purposes, i promise. Lol.
I Should be on later tonight.
