Is there anyway to turn down the glare in this game? I find it very bright and can hardly see people in some maps.

Had a few games with millsy,

Pwnt his ass quite a few times actually.

Also had a hacker 'Saitek Evo' or someshit. :tired:

Instead of all the camping snipers you get 2157931 guys waiting for a chopper or tank to appear :tired::tired:

Or just stick with your squad - squad actions can add up to some serious points.

Im on the upgrade trail guys so with no BC2 benchmark what is the best most consistant way to measure fps over a stretch? I read they use a part of SP and use fraps but I havent started SP so I guess that means Im stuck at the start right? I might log in with my sons details, so which part do you use and how long? Does inputs you make eg spamming nades etc affect the results?

I want to test my current baby rig, same rig with big vid card then 2600K with big vid card.

There is a fully scripted truck chase scene in the SP which is what most people use I think. Though it is half way through the campaign. You will probably have to shoot trucks and make inputs, which will lead to slightly varied results, but not enough to screw it up.

I am not sure if you can unlock the SP campaign by logging into your son's account though, I am quite sure SP data is saved locally on your machine, just not sure where :)

With a pretty strong rig, I wouldnt have thought that online would vary your results. The only time I lag out, is when there is heaps of smoke, but this is server lag, not FPS lag

Post up and let us know Aussie

Are you going to be playing more single or multi? If it is multi, I personally would set up my rig to suit what game type you are playing and benchmark that.

Was looking forward to actual jungle warfare but there are less trees in the maps than the fucking vanilla bc2 maps.

Really? I would have thought there would have been heaps of vegetation. A dence jungle map would be pretty intence. It would change gameplay quite a bit.

the notion that all battles fought in vietnam were in dense jungle is a myth.

Nothing like some agent-orange open rice paddy-field action.

BF-Vietnam had some nice vegetation-heavy maps but you were funnelled down to a single choke-point/crossing/rope bridge which was easy enough to cover :)
