Now this is what an online game should be like. Kind looks like Bf2, Team fortress and WoW (the RPG elements) mixed together. The beautiful part is that this game will be FREE!

Does this mean there will be no actual BF3? Are EA and Dice even working on a proper BF3? This game seems alright, a bit too cartoonish for my liking.
Considering the thread title is "TF2 Mod" I'm glad a new one has been made. Of course they are going to still make BF3. This is just more like a spin off.
Yeah, at a guess these two games won't really overlap in markets. BF Heroes sounds more like an arcade style game, whereas BF3 will hopefully continue the organised war feeling of BF2 (without the lag).
The video shows a campaign based on western Europe. This means the sides will get organised and compeditive. Every battle won or lost will have an overall affect on the campaign from the look of it.
I tried searching for 'Battlefield Heroes"...nothing came up. A pretty half assed search attempted but meh. They confirmed the rumors were made up and it will be released in Australia. I remember reading it somewhere in the news section on their site. They are trying to get the game to run and yet look good on low end computers. Which will be sweet. Thats the beauty of it. Not only are you playing to increase stats/gear/upgrades you'll be fighting for land.

I love how everywhere you go (gametrailers/youtube) for videos everyone is commenting how much they hate EA and how EA are ripping off Valve. Not that it matters aren't EA 'friends' with Valve anyway? they are two completly different games they just share cartoony engines - I look forward to it
Who gives a toss if its a copy of TF2... I find TF2 incredibly boring and mundane.. this however looks like alot of fun Games cant always be original
That could be EA's new slogan. Anyway I do agree, I don't find TF2 that much fun, but I do like the idea of this game. Just because one game does cell shader graphics and then another does doesn't mean they're comparable. They're both FPS's but TF1 was very different to BF1942.
Battlefield Heroes isn't even an FPS (unless they decide to change the viewpoint to FPS later due to fan reactions), so there goes that comparison to TF2. I don't see why people are saying it's a rip off of TF2, considering for them to copy it they would have had to created it from concept to finish at a very fast rate. Plus the only thing similar is the art style, which is completely different to TF2 anyway.
lol can we save the EA bashing please? You will probly still try it and i bet you've played many of EA's games and enjoyed them and will continue to do so, get over it please. Name a game that has been perfect from its release date, and that hasn't been delayed or had atleast 1 patch.
