Best 50"-60" tv for 1.5-2k budget for movies and tv?

You're welcome. You will enjoy it. I sure do, but I came from a 68cm flat widescreen crt, so anything was going to be better! I'm now trying to set up Kodi on it to replace the media player I have.

 

Anyone had an experience with the LG UH770T units? JB Hifi has 15% off and it's tempting to pick one up... but as usual with these things, reviews are hard to find.

 

Just bought a hisense 58' UHD for $995 with $200 Good guys store credit, so $795 for a UHD. In store I couldn't tell the difference between it and the sony/LG next to it at 4metres away (my sitting distance at home).
