Had Burgies today. It's not terrible. I'd probably go back to Between2Buns rather than here again. Especially because if I had of known prior to doing a U-Turn and pulling in, that they did not have bacon, I would not have gone there.
also need to try the new St Burgs.

It was all well put together though, tastes blended well. Well cooked. The burger looks a little pinker/redder than normal but I think this is because of their special pattiy.

Good on them. On It in FTG is one of my favourite joints. Well deserved title.

Their onion rings are amazing as well!

I don't put a huge amount of faith into that article when:

    • Best Ice-cream shop goes to a Cold Rock
    • Best Dumplings go to a fish and chip shop that as far as I can tell don't actually sell dumplings.
    • Best Sausage Roll shouldn't be based on people ordering online for home delivery. That's a national disgrace.

I always found On It a bit hit and miss and a bit overpriced. That said the one that I went (St Kilda Road) to recently closed down so maybe one of the others are worth a visit.

I have to agree that we found On It very much lacking when we've gone. Twice and neither one we were overly impressed with. I recall Mrs had softshel crab burger and i had something with a black bun and bacon jam, but the jam especially i remember being horrible tasting which broke my heart bc i love bacon!

Have been to The Little Food Hut recently and it's amazing. I rate it as good if it not a little better than CBK. The Pho Boy and the Slick Rick with a Chick were amazing.

Three locations. Maribyrnong, Werribee and Caroline Springs. Very nice burgers similar to Shake shack in the US.

work crew went there for lunch a couple of months ago. maybe we had talked it up beyond reasonable expectation but it was crap to the point where I'd go to HJs any day in preference for a fast food burger.

went once when they were open in Prahran. greasy but delicious, no complaints for a diner style experience.

Yeh it is but its genuine American menu style so it’s not something to be surprised. Plus you get to meet Misty in person. They have a chain in the US.

haven't been to the Reservoir venue, but I did like the Happy Days/roadside diner setting of the Prahran store - very similar to the old Freestone Roadhaven. the onion rings were very good. I would put the food we had on par with Fat Bob's in Moorabbin, and that is a compliment.

Hmm might have to try Fat Bob’s, have friends that live around Braeside that have recommended the place for years if you want to occassionally pig out.

Fat Bobs is decent but If you are down that way I’d go to Cool Bean Kitchen or The Little Food Hut first

Yeah, Fat Bobs isn't great compared to what else is around the area now. Add The Famished Wolf to that list, they are in Braeside too.
