Last week I went to Miel Container (Brisbane) and I had tongue orgasms when savoring their Classic Beef Burger (and the fries) - I actually had an "experience" that was memorable and note worthy.

This week I went to, 22. Ben’s Burgers, Fortitude Valley, QLD.

I had a burger - it was ok- the McDonald's build your own burger was better. The cheesy fries give you an acid gut and are good for the first 3....then the acid gut starts.

No tongue orgasm - no revisit potential!

Japan: Some of the Lotteria Burgers are "amazing" squid burgers, noodle burgers and frankly some of the best burgers and or Fries I have ever tasted in the world!

For those that aren't aware there was a listing posted in the other burger thread that may be of interest:
Where to find Australia’s best burgers

    From this I have sampled:
    - 7. DA' Burger at New Farm - my score (going off my burger choice on that day): 8.0 - it was a long time ago but I did enjoy it and will go back someday,
    - 17. Miel Premium Homemade Burger, Brisbane, QLD (going off my burger choice on that day - their Classic Beef): 9.0 - definitely has revisit potential,
    - 22. Ben’s Burgers, Fortitude Valley, QLD, (going off my burger choice on that day - their Classic Beef): 6.0 - it was just a burger not sure what happened on the day but I can't fathom how this is 22 on the list?

In the future I intend to visit:
    38. Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co, Noosa Heads, QLD
    46. Greaser, Fortitude Valley, QLD

Also have been advised to try:
    BurgerFuel

Keen to see any pics you guys take , any suggestions and also homemade creations.

    Other worthy noted venues:
    - Just Poppy's - the wife and I must have gone on a bad day or just made really poor choices because we thought it was average but there are to many in this thread singing this joint praises - so must have to revisit at some stage.
    - Getta Burger - have been there twice now and it gets an 8.5
    - Ze Pickle - haven't been yet but the menu looks very interesting.

I work near the Miel Container and it's consistently fantastic, especially for $12 :)

    On Saturday we tried BurgerFuel.

    I ordered the Bastard:
100% pure grass fed beef, melted cheddar, beetroot, mango, avocado, bacon, salad, relish, aioli

An unusual combination (mange, avo, etc.) but the flavor balance really works and my tongue was feeling very stimulated and approaching the big O. The bun was very nice with a good load of sesame seeds.

The missus ordered the Ford Freakout $12.50 +$1.50 for chesse:
100% pure grass fed beef, bacon, avocado, salad, relish, aioli

Again a very nice burger but it was a very obvious second to the Bastard (that thing really worked).

We also shared a serve of the Kumara Fries with Aioli $5.90 which is similar to a sweet potatoe but had a bit more of an earthy finish and they were awesome to "mop up the plate with" collecting all of the squished out avo, mango, etc.

Overall I would recommend it and definitely worth a revisit, my score: 8.25 for the meal combo ordered and shared on the day.

Grilling Art is awesome, I live off Rode so it's fairly close for me. The double beef is

OMG I never knew they were in Brissy. They are the best MTB refuel Rotorua has! They also have this amazing cardbourd doofer that holds the burger so you don't lose the guts out of it.

I must say I'm perplexed. I've had burger fuel's stuff, and was *entirely* underwhelmed.

Have to say this. Everytime I go to a Grill'd, (which is rare these days...) I always enjoy theirs.

I will have to check out some of these places mentioned though, a good burger always hits the spot.

If you're going as far as noosa might as well hit up Palmwoods which is about half the distance to a place called Rick's Garage. They sell burgers mainly, I can't say I've had a huge amount of different burgers in my life but their burgers are pretty damn amazing and huge.

That's why I am cautious and will always so "on the day" - I was the same with Ben's Burgers and also Just Poppy's (yet Poppy's keeps getting mentions so I either ordered the wrong burger or went on a bad day?).

Poppy's are great but sometime the patties are a little salty, but the next batch will be awesome.
