Never liked them as much as Stalker but they're good. I hope Stalker 2 eventuates.

Max Payne 1 and 2 were amazing for their time, but i tried to replay recently and they haven't held up well at all.

IMO, they were better left in the vault of fond memories unfortunately.

Half life 2, Ep1, Ep2 and black mesa are all worth a replay and hold up well.

    BF BC2 was great iirc.

Yeah I agree, the stalker series was great. I personally found the first two Metro games very linear, but the last one is definitely a very good game and improves on a lot of the shortfalls of the first two.

    Has prey been mention?

I'd even rank portal 1 and 2 up there as some of the best campaigns

I haven't forgotten this but am keeping an eye out for sales / cheap prices etc for various recommendations.

No one going to mention bioshock?
Nevermind I see now he has it.

The original crysis still holds up well and we can finally max it now!

I enjoyed Ghost Recon Wildlands but not so much the newer Breakpoint. They're third person games though

The modern Wolfenstein games are good too with the exception of Youngblood.

Has anyone mentioned Destiny 2 yet? I find it loads of fun, with "campaign" stuff as well as multiplayer PVE / campaign, multiplayer PVP etc
Theres also so much to do (one could argue too much to do!)

I found the new Call of Duty - Modern Warfare campaign to be really enjoyable. Doom is a good one too.

The deus ex series is you haven't played it yet is amazing.

Modern warfare 2019 is extremely immersive due to the graphics.
