Anyone got any suggestions? I've only tried one on rundle st and wasn't overly impressed.
Zapatas is the only decent one IMO, but still not AMAZING. Adelaide cant seem to do Mexican 100%. But whatever you do, do not eat at Montezumas. Absolute shithole, all of them.
Arriba Grill is probably the best, though their menu is fairly limited and it's more of a fast food place than a restaurant.
Damn. Oh well, thanks guys!
if you want to DIY it, visit chile mojo on magill road
they will have most stuff you need
How did no one mention Lucky Lupitas??
sorry, couldn't resist.
Burp on hindley street is awesome.
Mofo, I was at Zapatas about a month ago, it's pretty good. My experiences sit with Zapatas, Montezumas and Zambereros. Zambs is good for a quick bite, Montezumas is crap. Zapatas was good but you'll want to book ahead.
lucky lupitas shits over all of them. its the closest thing you will get to mexican street food in australia.
Has anyone been to Maiz and Mezcal?
Its only a short trip from my place, but don't get many dinners out (young child at home).
Maiz and Mezcal most authentic Mexican
Lucky Lupitas close second
If you Just want a burrito Zambreros on Rundle delivers
Maiz and Mezcal is very good.
Zapatas was 'okay' for myself. It didn't feel as "authentic" as Maiz and Mezcal.
I'm yet to try Lucky Lupita's, it's on the 'to do' list and I'm very much hoping it lives up to the hype.
I've been there a few times. It's pretty damn good!
agree with pretty much what's been said here.
maiz and lucky lupitas are first and second, depending on what you order.
ariba grill is nice if you just want burrito. don't forget la catina for mobile Mexican!
what do you order at maiz?
ariba grill is really nice
