I've searched this forum and have found various threads regarding lunches, but lots of those threads end up being a "what can you cook in the office microwave" type of thread.

I'm interested to find out what you guys like on your sandwiches. Not all of us have access to a microwave or kitchen at lunch time ;)

Other non-cook ideas would be good too please!

    My usual sandiwch has:
    Baby Spinach / Rocket
    Avocado / Mayo
    Tomato
    Cheese - Jarlsberg/Peccorino/Bocconcini
    Salt & Pepper
    Meat - Chicken/Ham/Flavoured Tuna
    Usually on a baguette
Sometimes add beetroot, carrot, jalepenos pickled onions etc for something different.

I'll often have ham, cheese and gherkin on white buttered bread for morning tea. Reminds me of primary school :p

I'm quite partial to a meat and salad filling:

    Ham
    Cheese
    Tomato
    Onion
    Lettuce
    Cucumber

Top with small amount of salt + pepper, mayo and you have a very nice sandwich.

Another favourite, more quick and easy:

Seafood pieces (the processed stuff you get from the deli in the supermarket)
    Lettuce
    Seafood Sauce

Leftover roast beef, lamb or pork is great on sandwiches. If it's fresh, even better! Throw on a bit of wholegrain mustard or gravy and you're laughing.

For other things, I'm quite partial to chicken/cheese/avocado, turkey/cranberry and turkey/avocado. Any of those with tomato, grated carrot or olives.

Depends on what kind of meat I have.

    Here's my chicken one.

    Chicken
    Cheese
    Lettuce
    Carrot (Grated)
    Pepper

Have it on one of those "knot" rolls or something?

    ;)!!..hits the spot.
