dasuperham gets my vote, but there's one SATA cable which isn't plugged in so I hope half those cables aren't just there for show...

Not sure why we are rewarding people for being lazy grots, don't care if they feel offended for me saying that but I say it how I see it.

I vote HrdwrBoB or Topy28 as they are genuine filth with a good coating of dust as well as mess.

Didn't go for Dasuperham, it looks a little more closer to Asteroid that is definite attempt to look messier than they were.

Didn't go for James86 either as it has been modded for the photo by pulling fans off to show mank and filth. You breath the same air as they do, do the math.

Now get and clean your disgraces.

To be honest it looks like they have all been put on for show... I'm sure and hope they haven't but just my observation.

I find this contest a bit meh in rewarding lazy people who cant manage their cables.

I have never owned a moduler PSU and only as of late had a good case which supports cable management. Velco zip ties are not expensive and even if you still have cables going everywhere they still look a shit tone neater. Even just running the cables in the HDD or tucking them up with the PSU...

I think this contest should of been "show us what you've done with your limited cable management equipment" not "show us your PoS cable management that you didn't even try and organise"

Sorry if this takes away from the thread and idea, but rewarding peoples lack or caring about their computer in a heavily computer related forum seems a bit strange.

But to still keep in the spirit of it all, i vote for the for Mr IDE! Asteroid

Lol, there's at least 3 PCs with IDE cables. It's just that I used rounded ones because otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit everything in. :p

this is what most ppls pcs look like
it doesnt make them lazy, just realistic
does your car engine bay look like the ones at the summernats?
    doubt it...

i applaud BF for encouraging ppl to show their rigs and perhaps shame them into fixin em a bit...but lazy doesn't come into it at all imho :)

Yes but OCAU is to pc's as the summernats are for car enthusiasts, is it not?

I love BF products, but find this promotion a little strange.

So just because I have a little knowledge and lot's of pride in my rig, I do not qualify for this competition?

I would have thought a company such as this would have more insight in regards to this forum as a marketplace/tool!

Instead they are preaching to the already converted IMHO

Not the ones with messy cables....

I'd never heard of the cables, now I have, looked them up on youtube and everything. Not everyone already knows stuff. Some of us are here to learn.
