Been keeping my eye on this mod since the start of its development. If its done well it will be a fantastic revamp to the best game of all time. Unfortunately the site doesnt have any release dates yet any ideas on that?

 

The worst sequel ever gives birth to a refresh of the best game to ever hit the market - who'd have thunk'it!

I've been watching the progress for so long. I've been hoping Valve would buy them out and help them with the game. I would be willing to pay at least $10 for this game.

 

This looks excellent, the weapons even sound better.

 

Whereas i'd prefer they charged nothing, i payed for Half Life when it originally came out. Why should we be slugged again for a remake

A mod that has been 4 years in the making. With a development team (Valve) who have been notorious for delays. Yes. I can't wait until its release in 2016 with HL3.

wow, nice vid. I've been waiting for this mod for 2 or 3 years.

What's this about paying for it? If its for a fee that's a whole other level of expectation.. then there's licencing, use of valve's IP etc, unless valve is bankrolling them afaik this isn't the case.

Looks great. A while back had the urge to play HL1. Bought the source version. Just one word for that: DON'T. Nostalgia tends to make you think things were much better than they actually were

Can't wait to go back to were it all begain!

 

Wow, if that trailer's anything to go by I'm sold. HL1 was an awesome game, and with a bit of graphics polish it'd stand up to anything released recently. It was the first game that made me so jumpy I would lose my grip on the mouse.

Edit: fried_chicken: The biggest problem with HL1:Source was they didn't update any of the graphics. The source engine has a standard texture resolution 4x higher than HL1, not to mention the geometry of the maps...
