on thursday my mother and I went to the fish market, bought a bunch of fish... anyway as usual we gave our cats some of a blue eyed cod fillet and they didn't realy seem intrested.

last night I got up to use the toilet and noticed the stuff glows in the dark, literaly: the room was pitch black and all I could see was this piece of fish.

now i'v never heard of this and I don't actualy eat fish myself but I can't see it being normal? is this stuff toxic or something? it wasn't exactly cheap!

any chance there could have been a UV light source? coral and some fish show a completely different array of colours under UV.

was it the skin or the flesh?

The fish has spent a bit of time in storage. Its a harmless bacteria from memory. But normally shows that the meat hasnt been stored properly.

EDIT: Just like RyoSaeba pointed out above.
