It continues to amaze me the talent that ppl on this forum display.

I'm a complete photography goose.... but I know what I like.

    These are ALL awsome..

I have always looked at the posted pics on the news page, and this is the first time that I have felt compelled to comment.

I emphasise that I am ABSOLUTELY not denegrating any other ppl's pics...

    I just love these.

Pls teach me how to press the button on my camera... Got a Nikon D200 to play with, and it intimidates me... jeeze too many buttons..

    Cheers

Thanks for the feedback. Always nice to get some comments whether they be negative or positive. Gig photos on these forums just tend to get posted and then dissapear down off the page

Hey some nice work there squeezer, only just saw this thread then but would have responded earlier. Really like the feel of these and the processing definitely gives it a bluesy feel. Wasn't sure about the black/colour shot then saw the caption hiphop meets blues and thought it was definitely a neat idea. All up enjoyed these alot thanks for sharing.

Yeah not sure if anyone noticed that before. I see one comment earlier today about that but none prior.

As stated that performance was Blues vs Hiphop so they had Rob Ewers and Sweet baby james ( Guitar and Drums ) "duelling" with DJ Shep and MC Simplex

was an interesting concept with Beat box vs real Drums and Riffs vs scratches.

When I was looking at the photo I had some inspiration but reversed the idea, so the modern stuff became B&W whilst the Blues was left in Colour. Pretty easy to do in Lightroom with the Graduated Desaturation Tool

I took a little Video snippet of the performance also but have to clear with the promoters if I am allowed to post it.
