I kinda want someone to Worm the fuck out of it... and either just post entire phone contents imgur for lols, or just something less malicious, but still funny, like every phone playing Epic Sax Guy in Unison.

    Lawnmower man style.

Never liked or trusted bluetooth. They might as well call it bendover. Plus, douchebags use it for hipster bollocks. Does the world really suffer without it? So I for one look forward to it's well deserved owning.

Damn it... The article I read this morning implied this was a Windows problem. I didn't want to hear that my phone is vulnerable.

Has anyone come across any suggested methods to scan for affected devices? I suspect I have a few.

    Colour me sceptical.

Stagefright was supposed to cause the sky to fall. but last time I looked up, it was still there.

Without being forced to (and I mean by it being forcibly disabled) what % of people who use bluetooth are actually going to switch it off? Most won't want to disable it on their phones as it auto-connects to their car, and a lot won't know how to disable bluetooth on their laptop/tablet without also disabling wifi.

I also wonder if IT/the business were to forcibly disable bluetooth for company phones could this turn into a WHS issue as it's actively preventing them from using hands free in the car?

Well, any/all of them. I was thinking along the lines of Nessus/OpenVAS type detection... Attack the BT devices with love and then find and fix them.
