Might be an announcement soon:
I wish they'd do one with normal graphics instead of cell-shading, like the original videos showed it.
That does look pretty, but it doesn't fit the crazy vibe of the Borderlands series, which is darkly comical and cartoonish. Cell shading just works perfectly for it, IMHO.
Only because that's what you're used to....
Yes we are used to it, but the best bits of borderlands is the over the top Dark comedy, which if they had realistic graphics would just come across as dark attempting to be funny. The cell shading helps lighten everything up.
Been looking forward to this for a long time! Been a long time since I played them! Funny to think that going by the ocau retro rules the og borderlands is now retro this year!
MY FACE! THE THING SHOUTING AT YOU - SHOOT IT!
So yeah... I'm excited!
srs question time now tho,
Mr Torgue's Expansion or Tiny Tina's Expansion, Which was better?
Tiny Tina's Expansion, because... THOSE FEELS!
Also, a gun that shoots swords!
dont forget the unicorn that poops weapons!
I honestly don't know why they haven't released this as an online looter shooter, i mean they'd clean up.
If they don't I'll actually be surprised.
Tiny Tina's Expansion is by far the best in my opinion.
What exactly would change if it was an online looter shooter?
Would it just be so you can play with randoms?
this is my point, it already feels like Destiny and all those other loot games so the natural progression is online multi. It'd make a killing if they pulled it off.
Let's face it too, they've taken way too long to develop it so yeah.
My main request would be to add a feature like Watch Dogs 2 has.
While you are playing, other coop groups can drop in as enemies, that would be very cool, they could make it fit in with the story and only happen in certain areas.
I personally wouldn't play it if it was online only.
What I would like to see is the ability to send out minions on fetch quests from a mobile app or web app so I can still be involved without having to be behind my PC.
The only benefit is that you can have a LAN in a remote area that has no internet.
Being online only doesn't really change anything but give you the opportunity to play with strangers if you don't have enough friends.
if you don't have a great connection soloing something like Destiny is a nightmare.
Still, you are either connecting to Borderlands 3 servers, or your friends local server.
If you lose your internet, you can't play in both situations, the online one might be a little more picky I guess?
Its been a long time since I've had a bad connection.
meh, either way I'm only speculating but if you think about it the game is just made for online loot shat and it'd be money left on the table if they don't do it.
