single player is to level at a decent pace, get all the loot you want
co-op is to level faster, have a slight challenge and have a chance at awesome awesome loot (it is potentially way better than single player.)

though my weapons... are o/p tbh
    4 players, all level 25-30
    75% of enemies are 'badass'
and i fairly easily take out a horde of them alone
though if i screw up i almost instantly die.. haha

level 29 now, just going and completing tons of side missions, good times.

pity so many have the waypoint markers totally bugged, nowhere near the actual objective. almost impossible to complete them as it is.

have 5 or so quests in the log that can't be completed.

@above... sledge is the one with the big shield? (the first real boss?)
get a shock MIRV grenade, instant 0 shield ftw
i think i died a couple of times on him.

In coop the enemies are tougher and have higher chances of good loot drops. You'll find you level up faster and get better loot if you play in coop. That said, most of the items I'm using I got in singleplayer but I haven't spent much time in coop.

Anyone on a GX2/SLI running the beta 195 drivers, any improvements?

I've been playing co-op with 3 of my friends and loving it. We're all ~level 17 and we're not absolutely smashing the mobs, which is a good thing.

Earlier on there was a link to a programme which edits the config files. One of the options was to bind an F-key to increase the FOV.

Is this game censored as well? I read in this thread somewhere that this game is censored or was it just troll talk?

I cant wait for Modern Warfare 2 with their lack of dedi servers if Borderlands Matchmaking is type of quality I can expect from this type of online service.

Asking again since my original contact didn't get back to me. I really want to play this game. The whole sucking their bandwidth seems true now since I think they're capped now :(

Two thumbs up from me so far, certainly different from other FPSs, my first time in this RPS genre. As far as online game play, I haven't had a go yet, just exploring around in singleplayer and levelling up.

This game is dangerously addictive!! I played from 7PM to about 1:30AM co-op with a friend of mine. But I have to uninstall it now... gotta focus on studying for exams :(

The game really pushes my system though, with everything maxed at 1920x1200 I'm getting about 30 - 40 fps. Is that normal?

    Yeah it's normal.

I aim for 120fps+ and play 1680x1050 (native res) and no shadows, medium detail and I get 120fps+ (GTX275, Phenom II @ 3.2ghz).
