    Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

What's the difference between it and the M6?

I had a customer chasing a Ikon ZM but the local supplier don't bring them in :*(

What is the film transport like?

They feel pretty similar in weight and size, but the film transport isn't as smooth as the M6.

I've only taken about 5 shots so far, i think theres some very slight vertical misalignment =( will have to see if it affects the focus though, although I would be happier if there wasn't any.

Other than that Av mode is a welcome addition, and the shutter sound isn't as quiet, but still much quieter than any SLR. Great big viewfinder, and looks a treat to focus, will have to try it in different conditions.

I'll be shipping the M6 off to ktun this arvo! Hope he enjoys the special little guy.

Man, I HATE vertical alignment issues. Seriously, My most hated thing in rangefinders is a poor vertical alignment.

Sounds nifty otherwise, are they pricey?

I was pretty lucky with mine, on ebay from a seller in Guangzhou for $1350USD, then no one bought it, went down 10%, then down again some more.
Was $1090USD, then I offered $1000, and won!

I got mine from Ted's Camerahouse. Then I painted it :p

Used Angelus Leather Paint (cept the black parts which was some cheap stuff) and its held up quite well, especially against scrapage on concrete.

Checked your website too, some really awesome stuff. Especially the Product section (xD jks)

piccy of the whole bag. Flash really brought out the texture of the paint. I slopped it on cbb getting a smooth enough finish. Reasons for painting:
    1. It was red, the only colour they had in stock at the time
    2. To match the gear

Doesnt really take long either. The longest part is waiting for it to dry before adding more layers.

On Thursday I picked up a Lowepro Forest Green/Black Flipside 400 for $164.00. Comfortable backpack with plenty of room, plenty of adjustments to get it comfortable.
This will be my walkaround/travel bag, I still prefer my Nova 5AW for location work.

Got myself a twenty20 ContourHD (the 720p one), but unfortunately I'm not allowed to ride for at least another week. I'm going to see if someone else will mount it to their helmet on Sunday to get some footage.

A nice camera needs a good comfortable strap.
