It's the MkII, the lens hood has the new matte pattern rather than the typical shiny surface on older lenses.

Sorry for the late reply, yes that's correct

I actually already had the 70-200 2.8 is ii and the 2x iii extender in my kit. It's the 5d3 that I recently purchased.

45A, have had it for a few months now :weirdo: has a revolving back like the 45AII but no rubberized knobs :(

Filters came from vandybar today, cheers to your boy Luke.

Yeah I hired one last week for my brothers wedding.

It easily fits into the 'Ridiculously Awesome' category of lenses, just unbelievable.

I don't like you! :) Just kidding - good choice! If I had the funds for it I would, had to settle for f4 and no IS I feel like a little kid who just got the first bite of a really tasty lollipop and couldn't afford the rest of it.

Just snagged a Thinktank Retrospective 10 off Ebay for $100, pretty good deal considering it's only a couple of months old and the seller is local.

Stoked to finally get a bag which will accommodate my kit without being a pain in the arse. The 6 Million Dollar Home I used to have was too small for my liking and in the 3 years I've been using Crumpler bags I've grown to hate the way they design their bags. Plenty of pockets and stuff but they're all to narrow to really fit anything substantial in!

Nice score - that's a pretty good price! Did you get Black or Pinestone?

I ohhhed and arrghhed over the colours and eventually went black haha

Pinestone - been doing the same thing regarding the colours but luckily I was leaning towards the Pine anyway so I was pretty lucky considering.

Got a friend who's got the 10 in Pinestone. Looks pretty good I must admit. Most of the our friends didn't know it was a camera bag. With the Crumplers - the Crumpler logo is a bit of a give-away!

Yeah I used to like the Crumplers because not many people knew about them but now that stores have cropped up in all the major cities they are much more well known so people can generally tell you've got a camera or laptop etc... Not something I'm keen on when I'm carting around $4K worth of kit.
