No does come with its own suitcase, though.

What are you using it for?

so far, wildlife, and upper body strength building :)
Hopefully some motorsport when I get a chance though.

(5.3kg's doesn't sound like much on paper, but it certainly feels like a LOT more, particularly once you add a body and monopod into the equation.

5.3?! That's monster. That's about the total weight of my XL2 and I have to use that shoulder mounted if I want to use it for more than 5 mins at a time.

Bought a snap on hood for my 50mm Summicron v4 from Map Camera in Tokyo. Freaking nuts, $100 plus for a piece of plastic with the words Leica on it.

Also got a hood for my biogon 21mm, incidentally metal and half the price that Camera Pro was offering (and they didn't even have stock!?)

$50 bucks for a Zeiss lens hood is cheap. Everywhere I look online they are all around the same price as the Leica ones.

Purchased a Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC USD the other week. Super fun happy times.

The grip makes a massive, massive difference to that camera. Was talking to the local Sony rep the other day about it, hehe.

Needed some faster storage - grabbed a Thunderbolt drive -- 6TB, now drive access is 3.5 - 4x faster.

Picked up a Canonet QL17 on impulse when I saw it for $20 in a shop window. Needs a new battery for the meter but everything else works fine, glass is clean and the light seals appear to be ok though will know after a few rolls of film.
